In 2021, Preston Refrigeration is celebrating 75 years of committed service to industrial refrigeration.  The Kansas City based design/build firm is using the milestone to honor the past accomplishments of its team while casting a vision for the company’s future.

Founded by Eugene T. Preston in 1946, it was Eugene’s son, the late Cliff Preston that is credited with growing the operation to a national scale. Built on the cornerstones of innovation, honesty and dependability, Preston pioneered the use of dry fan coil evaporators and pumped liquid recirculation systems. Today, the Company’s proprietary and patented technology continues to impact the food and beverage industry world-wide.

Preston’s team has grown to include more than 150 professionals with experience managing refrigeration projects exceeding $40 million. As they look to the future, the Company is focusing on new technology in both design and equipment, industry-leading safety standards, and the launch of cost-effective custom fabrication services in the Companies 200,000 sq. ft. automated fabrication facility.
