Inside Sales Representative - Parts Department
Preston Refrigeration is seeking a Full Time Electrical Design Lead position for our sites across the U.S.
Location: Kansas City, MO & U.S.
Travel Required: Minimal
Summary: The Electrical Design Lead position ensures and oversees all projects of Electrical Design in the Electrical Department and holds the team accountable for all deadlines for projects.
Responsibilities:

Develops solutions to design problems. Prepares engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyzes operations of existing systems.

Oversee the Electrical Department team and oversees the construction of various electrical panels.

Ensures acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent.

Assist in verifying times sheets, approval of time off for Electrical department personnel.

Possess the ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and schematics.

Possess working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration system functionality and operations.

Assist in mentoring of Electrical department staff in their duties.

Reviews drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards are being met.

Serves as point of contact to provide technical assistance and guidance to project managers and others.

Establishes and tracks project milestones and submits monthly reports to Senior Management.

Troubleshoot panel issues using appropriate testing devices.

Interprets federal, state, and local statutes and regulations.

Willingness to travel as needed throughout the continental US with overnight stay.

Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, brings problems to the attention of the Safety Director.

Adheres to Preston Refrigeration guidelines for expense reports and submits to Payroll Specialist in a timely manner.

Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; or 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.

Experience with electrical designs required.

Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel and Auto CAD.
-
Ability to travel 35% of the time with overnight stays when required.

Effective communication skills.
